Cashflow major concern for SMEs

Research by Capify has found that most SME business owners are concerned over their cashflow and cash reserves.

Over half of business owners lack confidence in banks to meet their future borrowing needs, and a growing number are losing sleep over their cash flow worries.

• 37% said cash flow was a major concern
• 13% worried about non-payment of invoices
• Just under 60% worried about the impact of rising costs and inflation

Despite many (56%) seeing a turnover growth in the previous 12 months, the first quarter of 2022 saw more challenges with 37% of companies saying they're behind on target.
