Four-day week trialled in the UK

A 4 day work week trial has launched in the UK which will continue for the next 6 months.

There will be no loss in pay for employees which will be working one day less, but they will be asked to continue 100% work productivity, whilst giving 80% of their time.

Around 30 companies are expected to be taking part in the pilot, which has been launched in partnership with researchers, Autonomy and the 4 Day Week UK Campaign. Interest in the 4 day work week has been growing and aims to increase employee focus and productivity, rather than concentrating on how long they're at work.
