Hundreds Of UK Companies Offer Jobs To Ukrainian Refugees

Marks and Spencer, ASOS, Tesco and Aldi are among firms to sign up and help refugees fleeing Ukraine when they arrive in the UK.

The scheme by Emma Sinclair MBE, now has over 100 companies wanting to help and support Ukrainian refugees by providing jobs when they arrive.

Large names such as AstraZeneca, Nestle, Iceland and Lush want to take part. There are millions of jobs available in the UK, so this could boost the economy and Britain's labour market since unfilled vacancies hit a record high.

More than 2.5 million have fled Ukraine, with over 3,000 visas given to Ukrainian people seeking refuge in the UK, and thousands more to be provided. Those fleeing the war in Ukraine will be given the right to work once their applications are accepted.
